WHO WE WORK WITH
Entrepreneurial
and innovative solutions
We structure and accelerate ventures, advancing their solutions, technologies and business models to reach market readiness, long term growth, effectiveness, and investment attractiveness.
We believe entrepreneurial solutions, science-based and impact-driven innovations — from startups, deeptechs, impact businesses and social enterprises — are critical to solving social and environmental challenges faced by corporates, philanthropists, investors, and public institutions.
As Brazil’s pioneering accelerator, Quintessa combines a broad range of methodologies. We scout these innovative solutions, curate the most promising ones, provide high-quality technical assistance (acceleration methodologies and mentoring focused on consistent growth), prepare organizations for fundraising and support the effective implementation of the solutions. Besides capacity building, we build strong market connections and unlock access to capital.
We design customized initiatives to sector-specific needs, mitigating risks and ensuring effectiveness for those engaged in the innovation agenda, entrepreneurial ecosystem development and impact investing.
We combine strategic vision with effective execution: our methodology begins with diagnostics and the definition of the initiative’s thesis, includes the mobilization of co-funders, coordination and execution, and advances to the final step of measurement and systematization of results.
Cross-sector
and systemic solutions
We strengthen territories and unlock scalable socio-environmental outcomes by driving collective action through systemic strategies.
Complex challenges demand coordinated and cohesive action among multiple actors. We convene companies, investors, philanthropists, governments, academia, civil society, and solution providers around shared agendas. Acting as an orchestrator, Quintessa aligns objectives, reduces friction, and translates across different “languages” — combining philanthropic and commercial capital in co-funding strategies. We have developed our own methodology for systemic programs, already applied with significant results in the education sector.
Based on the importance of convening, we build collective actions and coalitions specialized by theme and sector - fostering pre-competitive arrangements, ecosystem building and the development of supply (solutions) and demand (market).

Areas of Expertise
Brazil’s aging population and slow demographic growth demand a productivity leap. Math and STEM education are critical levers for long-term economic competitiveness. We design systemic initiatives that align pedagogy, public policy, and edtech innovation to drive learning outcomes at scale. Quintessa fosters innovative solutions and drives cross-sector initiatives to advance Brazil’s sustainable development agend.
EducaMAT

economic development
Land-use change is Brazil’s main driver of greenhouse gas emissions. Quintessa positions this as a strategic area of action, focusing on the development of innovative entrepreneurial solutions and technologies for restoration and bioeconomy. We believe that impactful results require the coordination of public policies, investors, foundations, entrepreneurs, and corporations, as well as tailored financial mechanisms. We work with ventures that regenerate soil, enhance territorial value, and shape the future of forests, biomes, and their peoples.
Brazil faces critical water resource management issues, affecting industry, agriculture, and millions without clean water or sanitation. The hydro-dependent energy matrix further underscores the central role of water. Quintessa coordinates cross-sector efforts by mobilizing capital, implementing projects, and building coalitions to enhance water security.
The climate crisis is reshaping entire economies — from food and water systems to energy and infrastructure.
We believe deeptech is key to meeting the scale of these challenges. We support climate-focused deeptechs in Brazil by helping them mature, pilot, and scale — and by connecting academia, industry, government, and investors.
Climate change disproportionately affects women — yet many women-led ventures remain underfunded and underrecognized.
At Quintessa, we walk the talk: with a female-majority team and leadership, we support women-led climate solutions through initiatives like Convexa Lab. We focus on technical assistance, market access, and capital to help these ventures grow and scale.
